Idea #56 - How Video Was Invented

Ever wondered how we advanced from still photographs to videos? Today we watched How Was Video Invented and learned its history and details involved in the process.

Interestingly, the idea of broadcasting video came from fax machines! It was in the way it scanned repeatedly the content in the page until ultimately it was captured and printed.

We also watched How a TV Works in Slow Motion and learned how pixels are only primary colours - red, green, and blue, what we also know as RGB under varying degrees of brightness of white light which refracts as different colours!

These videos were extremely insightful and explained perfectly and in the simplest of words the science and nuances involved in videography.
