Idea #74 - Brand Activation Campaigns
Today we watched brand activation campaigns by two of the biggest and well-known companies- Coke Zero and Lifebuoy.
We discussed that these experiential types of campaigns aim to spark word-of-mouth publicity. Lifebuoy's 'Roti Reminder' campaign was proof of how strong their connection with their audience is. The brand tactfully targeted the lower tier audience with the heat-stamped rotis and created a buzz in the entire world.
While Lifebuoy leveraged its strong knowledge of its customers to create a campaign, Coke Zero resorted to creating a wave of excitement and curiosity, resulting in starting a trend.
