Idea #119 - Verde (A Coming-of-Age Film)

In today's Daily Idea saw a Columbian short film titled 'Verde'. This film aims to give us an honest insight into the seemingly small but significant moments of growing up, and how growing up sometimes also means growing apart.

Verde is a story of two sisters, and how their inseparable bond slowly breaks away.

It is a coming of age story, with nothing dramatic in the storyline itself. Set in a sunny afternoon, the film feels like a memory reel and stimulates our senses with its vivid cinematography.

With a strong and authentic screenplay and confident direction, Victoria Rivera’s Verde captures a defining moment in a girl’s life and makes for an intimate and captivating viewing experience.
